David Stöhr
David is a theatre director from Berlin, Germany.
He studied psychology and later theatre directing at the Max-Reinhard Seminar in Vienna, Austria. His production “Lulu” by Frank Wiedekind won the Grand Prix for the best production at the Theatre Festival iTSelF in Warsaw. He directed at the Schaubühne Berlin, Theater Magdeburg and also works on theatre projects in psychosocial institutions.
In addition to his artistic work as a director, he also works as a lecturer at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf and the HMT Rostock Academy of Music and Theater.
For his production “Glaube Liebe Hoffnung” by Ödön von Horvath, I joined his team as the only photographer to document the entire production from scratch until premiere.
